THE EXPLOITED confirmed for Speedfest
THE EXPLOITED and LIFE OF AGONY have been confirmed for the fifth edition of Speedfest, set to take place December 11 at Klokgebouw in Eindhoven, Holland.

BEHEMOTH frontman got leukemia
Adam "Nergal" Darski, the 33-year-old guitarist/vocalist from Poland's greatest extreme-metal export, BEHEMOTH, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening form of leukemia, a cancer of blood-forming tissues of the bone marrow. The disease, for which Adam is currently receiving treatment at the hematology division of the Gdansk Medical University Hospital, has advanced to the point where he is in urgent need of a bone-marrow transplant.

Wayne Kramer records Daytrotter session
MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer recently stopped by the Daytrotter studios to record a session, which includes new takes on the 1970 MC5 track "High School", "No Easy Way Out" from Kramer's 1997 solo release "The Return of Citizen Wayne" and "Bad Seed" from his 1995 album "The Hard Stuff" plus a cover of "Redemption Song".

BAD RELIGION to play 3 album related shows in NYC
Punk rock veterans BAD RELIGION has announced 3 decade-spanning sets. The band will spend 3 days at New York City's Irving Plaza with OFF WITH THEIR HEADS and THE AGGROLITES. On October 20, the band will cover "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?", "Suffer" and "No Control". October 26 will take "Against the Grain", "Generator", "Recipe For Hate", "Stranger Than Fiction", "The Gray Race" and "No Substance". The final night, October 27, will cover "New America", "The Process of Belief", "The Empire Strikes First", "New Maps of Hell" and "The Dissent of Man".
Note that they will not play the whole albums but songs from them. Tickets go on sale August 28.
